17th Century Chest of Drawers on Stand

Characteristics

An early 17^th century chest of drawers, in the Queen Anne style, on a later, most likely George I stand. With beautiful walnut veneers and mouldings. The chest comprising two short over three long drawers, the base with a central drawer flanked by a further two. The handles and escutcheons are later replacements, but are of the correct style for the period. Immaculately restored and in very good condition. 

Part of the proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to The Huguenot Museum in Rochester.
